How do I get the weekly updates? | |
Both Field Units and Workstations should be getting the TraCS Pack
weekly updates automatically when you log
into TraCS. If you are not getting updates or have any concerns, please contact TraCS Support via the contact info listed at the bottom of this page. Update Available Make sure your computer has an Internet connection and then log into TraCS. When you launch TraCS, you should see the following bubble appear in the lower right corner of your screen: You can use TraCS while the updates are being downloaded in the background. Available to Install Once the updates are downloaded you will be asked to restart TraCS to install the updates: Restart TraCS and click on the “Yes” button to install the updates: TraCS will show a progress window. Once the update is complete, click on the Close button: To verify that the updates were installed, go to the Help menu within TraCS, click on the "About TraCS" button and verify that the TraCS Pack version located in the upper-right corner of the splash screen matches the current TraCS Pack name from the notification email, i.e. Alaska-12-26-2013. ***If your TraCS Pack is not updating automatically, please contact TraCS Support via the contact info listed at the bottom of this page!*** |
