What is the difference between
"TraCS Pack" and "Application" updates?
The "TraCS Pack" updates (i.e. Alaska-06.15.2016) are weekly updates that are automatically installed on your computer, as needed, when you open up TraCS while you are connected to the Internet. The TraCS Pack updates include changes made to the files within TraCS that are specific to Alaska such as: new or updated offenses, updates to fields within existing forms, new forms etc.

The "TraCS Application" updates (i.e. 16.09) are usually installed automatically on your computer, as needed, when you open TraCS while you are connected to the Internet. Updates can also be installed when the TraCS 10 - Baseline Install.EXE file is run by you, if you have administrator privileges on your computer, or your department's IT staff, if you do not have administrator privileges on your computer. The TraCS Application updates include changes made to TraCS software and are released on a quarterly basis or even less frequently.
